Balboa GL Series Spa Controller Box. GL2000 MK3 with 3kw Heater. Also used to replace older GL2000 MK1 Control boxes and GL1500 control systems. Note that the older and newer GL2000 PCBs do not fit each other's boxes. Comes with new heater. Old touchpad can be used if upgrading from older metal boxes or GL1500.

  • Handy PVC Plumbing Size Info

    Plumbing sizes can be confusing. Pressure PVC pipe use nominal sizes - the size is simple a name, not the measured dimension. This convention is used across most pool and spa systems so that pipes and fittings remain compatible.

    • 50mm / 2" = ~60-61mm OD
    • 40mm / 1.5" = ~48mm OD
    • 25mm / 1" = ~33-34mm OD

  • Plug Types & Styles

    Common plug types found on spa equipment are AMP, Mini JJ, C38 (Aus 3-pin), Gecko in.link, etc. For more information please click here.

    • AMP plugs are the most common type used for over 20 years.
    • Many Mini J&J plugs are no longer available and must be modified.
    • C38 is the common Australian 3-pin plug found in normal household outlets.
    • Gecko (Aeware) in.link style plugs are no longer available and must be modified.
