A surface skimmer does the job your robot cannot - it collects leaves, blossom and insects while they are still floating, before they sink and stain the floor or clog the skimmer box. The ES Skimmer runs on its own extra large solar panel with intelligent sun-seeking charging, so it stays on the water permanently without a power lead or a charging routine.

Two ultrasonic radars keep it off the walls and steps, and four anti-strand bars stop it beaching itself on the tile line.

Where a Surface Skimmer Helps Most

Pools under deciduous trees, jacarandas or anything that drops blossom benefit the most. Catching debris on the surface reduces the load on your filter and pump, cuts down the amount of organic matter breaking down in the water, and lowers chlorine demand. It is a complement to a floor robot, not a replacement for one.

Note: Empty the debris basket regularly and keep the solar panel clear of dust and sunscreen film for best charging performance. We carry more spare parts than anyone.
