The BWT Pearl HPT discharges air vertically out of the top of the unit rather than out the front or rear. That makes it the pick for tight equipment areas, narrow side passages and installations sitting close to a wall or fence, where there is simply no room to exhaust horizontally without recirculating air back through the evaporator.

Underneath the round cabinet it is the same Pearl inverter platform - variable speed compressor, brushless fan, colour touch screen and BWT Connect Wi-Fi as standard.

BWT Smart Control

Advanced double-entry regulation anticipates the pool energy requirement by cross-referencing air and water temperature, so the compressor and fan deliver only the power the pool actually needs. Oversized exchangers paired with the inverter compressor lift the seasonal COP, while the brushless variable speed fan keeps noise to a minimum.

BWT Connect and the TechniCenter

A Wi-Fi device is fitted as standard inside every Pearl inverter heat pump and is reached through a side panel. Pair it by scanning the QR code on the machine, entering the network security code and pressing the pairing button.

Connected units report to the BWT TechniCenter, where technicians can read error codes, access settings through a secure interface and adjust, optimise or update the heat pump remotely over Modbus - often resolving a fault without anyone attending site.

Which Discharge Direction Do I Need

Top discharge units exhaust upward, so they can be sited closer to walls and in narrow plant areas without recirculating their own cold exhaust air. Front discharge units need clear space in front of the fan. If your equipment pad is tight against a boundary fence or tucked into a side passage, the HPT is usually the safer choice. Always leave the clearances specified in the installation manual around the air intake.
