Joyonway has revised its control systems several times, particularly before 2023, often keeping identical model numbers across versions that are not cross-compatible. Compatibility is not guaranteed by model number alone. Replacing a control box can require an updated touchpad, and replacing a faulty touchpad can require an upgraded control box. Confirm your exact system before ordering — or send us photos and your spa details and we'll help identify the correct part.

Handy PVC Plumbing Size Info
Plumbing sizes can be confusing. Pressure PVC pipe use nominal sizes - the size is simple a name, not the measured dimension. This convention is used across most pool and spa systems so that pipes and fittings remain compatible.
- 50mm / 2" = ~60-61mm OD
- 40mm / 1.5" = ~48mm OD
- 25mm / 1" = ~33-34mm OD

Plug Types & Styles
Common plug types found on spa equipment are AMP, Mini JJ, C38 (Aus 3-pin), Gecko in.link, etc. For more information please click here.
- AMP plugs are the most common type used for over 20 years.
- Many Mini J&J plugs are no longer available and must be modified.
- C38 is the common Australian 3-pin plug found in normal household outlets.
- Gecko (Aeware) in.link style plugs are no longer available and must be modified.
