Genuine tank lid O-ring for Astralpool CA and Cantabric series sand filters. This is the seal between the tank and the lid / multiport valve, and the usual cause of a joint that weeps with the collar correctly tightened.
CA or ECA? They Use Different O-Rings
- CA / Cantabric series - this O-ring, 7211820060.
- ECA series - 7201750057 (green).
Cantabric filters also use a separate valve-to-tank O-ring, 4404180201. If you are unsure which seal has failed, send us a photo and we will identify it.
When to Replace
- Water weeping from the lid joint with the collar sound and tight.
- O-ring visibly flattened, split, hardened or taking a permanent set.
- Any time the tank is opened for media replacement.
Use a silicone-based lubricant on fitting. Petroleum-based grease degrades the rubber.
