Replacement main body/lid O-ring for Astralpool / Hurlcon Viron QL420 and QL540 cartridge filters. Also suits the UF Ultra Fine UF40 filter housing. Restores an airtight, watertight seal to prevent leaks, air ingress, and pressure loss.

Installation (Quick Guide)

1. Turn off power and release pressure via the filter air bleed.
2. Remove the clamp/band and lift the lid straight up.
3. Clean the O-ring groove and seating surfaces (remove grit/old grease).
4. Lightly coat the new O-ring with 100% silicone-based lubricant (avoid petroleum jelly).
5. Seat O-ring evenly, refit lid, reinstall clamp per manufacturer specs.
6. Re-pressurise and check for leaks.

Maintenance tip: re-lubricate the O-ring at each cartridge clean.
