Raypak High Limit Switch - 140°F / 60°C

Raypak High Limit Overtemp Switch with 1/4" BSP thread. Genine OEM product. Common failure with age, or due to corrosion. Generally replaced when a major heater service is performed, along with the pressure switch. Should be replaced along with the Pressure Switch.

Raypak Gas Heater Error "LL" is often caused by the failure of these. Also failure may cut out power to the Circuit Board completely, depending on the model. This can cause RP2100 gas heaters to show a completely dead display. AKA Thermal Cutout

  • Handy PVC Plumbing Size Info

    Plumbing sizes can be confusing. Pressure PVC pipe use nominal sizes - the size is simple a name, not the measured dimension. This convention is used across most pool and spa systems so that pipes and fittings remain compatible.

    • 50mm / 2" = ~60-61mm OD
    • 40mm / 1.5" = ~48mm OD
    • 25mm / 1" = ~33-34mm OD

  • Plug Types & Styles

    Common plug types found on spa equipment are AMP, Mini JJ, C38 (Aus 3-pin), Gecko in.link, etc. For more information please click here.

    • AMP plugs are the most common type used for over 20 years.
    • Many Mini J&J plugs are no longer available and must be modified.
    • C38 is the common Australian 3-pin plug found in normal household outlets.
    • Gecko (Aeware) in.link style plugs are no longer available and must be modified.
