Rapid Shock is a Non-Chlorine Shock Treatment for spas & hot tubs.
  • It is a highly concentrated, fast dissolving oxygen compound that reduces and eliminates combined chlorine levels. It is very fast acting and a spa or hot tub may be used only 15 minutes after dosing.
  • Used regularly it increases sanitiser effect. It also contains a clarifying agent creating extra sparkle.
  • It may be used as a non-chlorine shock for ornamental ponds and fountains.

Directions for Use:
Sprinkle required dosage over surface of water with pump and filter turned on. Rapid Shock will dissolve within 2-3 minutes.

75gm of Rapid Shock per 1000 litres water

A blend of persulphates (non-chlorine oxidisers) containing 5.6% available oxygen. Ideal for oxidising spas and chloramine reduction in swimming pools.
Its unique blend also makes it suitable for all Ionised pools giving a long term oxidising effect.

Note: Dry chemicals are sold by weight, not volume. Due to differing densities of various chemicals, some containers may not appear 'full' when they are actually the correct weight.

  • Handy PVC Plumbing Size Info

    Plumbing sizes can be confusing. Pressure PVC pipe use nominal sizes - the size is simple a name, not the measured dimension. This convention is used across most pool and spa systems so that pipes and fittings remain compatible.

    • 50mm / 2" = ~60-61mm OD
    • 40mm / 1.5" = ~48mm OD
    • 25mm / 1" = ~33-34mm OD

  • Plug Types & Styles

    Common plug types found on spa equipment are AMP, Mini JJ, C38 (Aus 3-pin), Gecko in.link, etc. For more information please click here.

    • AMP plugs are the most common type used for over 20 years.
    • Many Mini J&J plugs are no longer available and must be modified.
    • C38 is the common Australian 3-pin plug found in normal household outlets.
    • Gecko (Aeware) in.link style plugs are no longer available and must be modified.
