How to identify your Balboa topside panel

Balboa names each topside by its button layout and connector. Match the front-panel buttons to the cards above, then confirm with the part number printed on the back label and your spa pack model (VS, GS, GL, EL or BP). The ribbon / phone-plug connector and software version decide which panels are interchangeable, so check these before ordering a replacement touchpad.

VL Series cross-reference

The VL Series is legacy but still widely fitted across Australian spas. Common upgrades: the VL401 4-button LCD is the current drop-in replacement for the discontinued VL403 LED on GS501Z / VS501Z / Signature 10 systems, and the VL200 mini-oval covers many 3 and 4-button setups. VL701S runs as a Standard system; VL801D as Deluxe.

Compatibility

Balboa controls are fitted to a wide range of spas sold in Australia, including many imported cabinets and locally finished brands such as SpaPro and WWDG-built spas.
