Increases total alkalinity and pH levels in spas. Also known as Sodium Bicarbonate, Buffer, Bicarb. Acts as a pH buffer to prevent extreme pH shifts.

Ideal TA level is usually 80-150ppm. Low Total Alkalinity can cause damage to plastics, heaters, seals, and pumps.

200g will raise Total Alkalinity by 10ppm per 10,000 liters
20g will raise TA by 10pp per 1,000 litres
(200gm will bring TA to 100ppm for 1,000 litres)
