Balboa Copper Heater Jumper Strap, Connects Heater to PCB. Suits EL, GL, GS, VS series Balboa controllers. Heater to circuit board electrical connection.

Note: Always use two wrenches when making electrical connection to heater element terminals, to avoid damage to epoxy post seal. Tighten top nut to 20 inch pounds, while holding bottom terminal nut. (Refer to illustration). On circuit board, tighten nuts to 30-35 inch pounds. Improper installation will result in premature failure and void warranty. OEM #30039.

  • Handy PVC Plumbing Size Info

    Plumbing sizes can be confusing. Pressure PVC pipe use nominal sizes - the size is simple a name, not the measured dimension. This convention is used across most pool and spa systems so that pipes and fittings remain compatible.

    • 50mm / 2" = ~60-61mm OD
    • 40mm / 1.5" = ~48mm OD
    • 25mm / 1" = ~33-34mm OD

  • Plug Types & Styles

    Common plug types found on spa equipment are AMP, Mini JJ, C38 (Aus 3-pin), Gecko in.link, etc. For more information please click here.

    • AMP plugs are the most common type used for over 20 years.
    • Many Mini J&J plugs are no longer available and must be modified.
    • C38 is the common Australian 3-pin plug found in normal household outlets.
    • Gecko (Aeware) in.link style plugs are no longer available and must be modified.
