  • Heaters no longer come with wiring looms as pictured. Your electrician may need to make new looms to suit your controller.
  • Good, solid electrical connections are essential. Poor connections may cause damage.
  • For SP750 / SP100 Only:

Single Element Heater Notes

  • The temperature sensor in new single-element heaters with grey cable is not used in SP750 / SP1000 control systems.
  • The secondary Klixon high-limit switch wire from the PCB may need to be looped.
  • Only one Klixon is necessary on single-element heater setups.

  • Handy PVC Plumbing Size Info

    Plumbing sizes can be confusing. Pressure PVC pipe use nominal sizes - the size is simple a name, not the measured dimension. This convention is used across most pool and spa systems so that pipes and fittings remain compatible.

    • 50mm / 2" = ~60-61mm OD
    • 40mm / 1.5" = ~48mm OD
    • 25mm / 1" = ~33-34mm OD

  • Plug Types & Styles

    Common plug types found on spa equipment are AMP, Mini JJ, C38 (Aus 3-pin), Gecko in.link, etc. For more information please click here.

    • AMP plugs are the most common type used for over 20 years.
    • Many Mini J&J plugs are no longer available and must be modified.
    • C38 is the common Australian 3-pin plug found in normal household outlets.
    • Gecko (Aeware) in.link style plugs are no longer available and must be modified.
