Spa 90° Air Bleed Nozzle - Also Replaces Sunrans / Spas Direct Bleed

90 degree air bleed return nozzle. Newer version replaces the Waterway & Chinese Sunrans version used in Spas Direct and others.

Used as an air bleed return fitting on spas to allow release of air from pumps and heater when filling. These are generally found in the filter housing. Suits spas with pumps that are fitted with bleed nipple barbs. 90° return to minimise effect of returning water in the spa.

  • Handy PVC Plumbing Size Info

    Plumbing sizes can be confusing. Pressure PVC pipe use nominal sizes - the size is simple a name, not the measured dimension. This convention is used across most pool and spa systems so that pipes and fittings remain compatible.

    • 50mm / 2" = ~60-61mm OD
    • 40mm / 1.5" = ~48mm OD
    • 25mm / 1" = ~33-34mm OD

  • Plug Types & Styles

    Common plug types found on spa equipment are AMP, Mini JJ, C38 (Aus 3-pin), Gecko in.link, etc. For more information please click here.

    • AMP plugs are the most common type used for over 20 years.
    • Many Mini J&J plugs are no longer available and must be modified.
    • C38 is the common Australian 3-pin plug found in normal household outlets.
    • Gecko (Aeware) in.link style plugs are no longer available and must be modified.
