American Products Silent Air Control - Luxury - White - Cap Only - Obsolete (No Longer Available)

Very common Replacement for newer American Products Luxury Silent Air Controls with scalloped caps only.

Older broken caps will require the purchase of a complete air venturi control valve.

New caps have valve engaging lugs that are 4.6mm wide. Old caps have lugs that are 3.2mm wide. The lugs the small tabs that operate the valve section, and are prone to snapping.

  • Handy PVC Plumbing Size Info

    Plumbing sizes can be confusing. Pressure PVC pipe use nominal sizes - the size is simple a name, not the measured dimension. This convention is used across most pool and spa systems so that pipes and fittings remain compatible.

    • 50mm / 2" = ~60-61mm OD
    • 40mm / 1.5" = ~48mm OD
    • 25mm / 1" = ~33-34mm OD

  • Plug Types & Styles

    Common plug types found on spa equipment are AMP, Mini JJ, C38 (Aus 3-pin), Gecko in.link, etc. For more information please click here.

    • AMP plugs are the most common type used for over 20 years.
    • Many Mini J&J plugs are no longer available and must be modified.
    • C38 is the common Australian 3-pin plug found in normal household outlets.
    • Gecko (Aeware) in.link style plugs are no longer available and must be modified.
