JX160 Wall mounted Astral Hurlcon Gas Pool & Spa Heaters. Available for indoor and outdoor uses. Comes in two sizes. 130mJ & 160mJ. Can be used with Natural gas or LPG. Originally beige, but now are all dark gray. ~33kW heat output.

The AstralPool JX gas pool and spa heater is a premium fan forced heater designed for wall mounting. Available for indoor and outdoor application and ideal for confined spaces. Forced draft combustion system means lower clearances from windows and surrounding objects.

The JX Gas pool and spa heater is designed to mount on the wall saving space and making maintenance easy. Normal flues rely on natural draught but this fan powers the JX draught so it can be more compact and efficient.

Great for converting electric heated spas to gas.

Note: LPG (Propane) versions are no longer kept in stock by the manufacturer and are Made to Order. They advise to give "1-4+ weeks."

  • Handy PVC Plumbing Size Info

    Plumbing sizes can be confusing. Pressure PVC pipe use nominal sizes - the size is simple a name, not the measured dimension. This convention is used across most pool and spa systems so that pipes and fittings remain compatible.

    • 50mm / 2" = ~60-61mm OD
    • 40mm / 1.5" = ~48mm OD
    • 25mm / 1" = ~33-34mm OD

  • Plug Types & Styles

    Common plug types found on spa equipment are AMP, Mini JJ, C38 (Aus 3-pin), Gecko in.link, etc. For more information please click here.

    • AMP plugs are the most common type used for over 20 years.
    • Many Mini J&J plugs are no longer available and must be modified.
    • C38 is the common Australian 3-pin plug found in normal household outlets.
    • Gecko (Aeware) in.link style plugs are no longer available and must be modified.
