This is from CG Air's Millennium range and part numbers found start with ME.
This 700 watt air blower is manufactured by CG Air of Canada and commonly found on Canadian & north American built hot tubs and spas. Known to be fitted to Canadian Spas portable range the haliburton & muskoka and some of their older large spas.
Specifications:

- 40mm/1.5" socket - Pipe slips into the socket. Secure with a screw. Do not use flammable glue.

Designed to be installed inside a spa cabinet directly to a portable-style spa. Not recommended for outdoor applications or distances of more than 2m from a spa.
The above blower replaces all other CG Air blowers used in portable spas in Australia.
IN GROUND SPA INSTALLATION
- The blower must be in a dry area as close as practical to the spa. In
installations more than 4 meters from the pool, the safety loop should
be close to the spa. - Safety loops and risers - to avoid water damage to the blower, the
blower should be installed at least 700mm above the water level in
the spa (fig. 1) or be protected by a safety loop (Fig 2). Water dam
age is not covered by warranty. - All piping should be in 40mm PVC pressure pipe.
- The minimum ventilation (free space around the blower) should be
50sq.cm in accordance with AS/NZS2023:1995.
PORTABLE SPA INSTALLATION
- Portable spas require a double safety loop plus a check valve (as in
Fig 3) or a vent valve (as in fig 4). - A 3mm hole a point (A) is recommended to allow accumulated
condensation to drain out. - All piping should be in 40mm PVC pressure pipe.
- After wet testing the spa, the blower should be disconnected for the
safety loop to stop residual water getting into the blower during transit.

In plumbing, named sizes are not the actual measurements. A pipe called “50mm” or “2"” does not measure 50 mm across. Instead, it follows nominal sizing, an internationally-standardised naming system.
Use the Outside Diameter (OD) to check your pipe against fittings. Below is a quick reference for common spa & pool pipe sizes:

These are nominal sizes and are designed to fit matching fittings — not to measure exactly what their name suggests. These are based on PVC Pressure Pipe AS/NZ 1477 Dimensions1.

Understanding Plumbing Sizes & Nominal Measurements
Plumbing sizes can be confusing. PVC and many other pipe systems use nominal sizes—the size is a name, not the exact measured dimension. This convention is used across most pool and spa systems so that pipes and fittings remain compatible.
Why pipe sizes don’t match the measurements
The Nominal Pipe Size (NPS) system standardises pipe dimensions so that pipes, fittings, valves, and accessories interoperate. Plumbers work with these nominal names every day, but DIYers can be tripped up if they try to match by a tape-measure alone.
How to Measure Pipe Correctly

Pipe size is identified by:
- The pipe’s Outside Diameter (OD).
- The fitting’s Inside Diameter (ID) (socket opening).
- Pipe Class / Schedule (e.g., Class 9, 12, 18 or Sch 40) relates to wall thickness and therefore the Internal Diameter (ID) and pressure rating.
- The outside diameter of a fitting is not useful (wall thickness varies by manufacturer).
