Universal Spa-Craft / Edgetec / Decina TriFlo 1.0HP Auto-Heat spa bath pumps. Air Switch operated. Motor heat is transferred to the water via the TriFlo's unique backing plate, helping spa bath water stay warmer for longer.
Used on many spa baths, and is a great retrofit for any non-heated spa bath pump. Used by Monarch, Decina, Lanark, Round Bath Company, Microjet SpaBath, and many others.
Replacing Other Brands (Davey, Onga, Balboa, Kohler, etc.):
- When replacing obsolete bath pumps from other brands, the old barrel unions( screw-on plumbing fittings) must be cut off and the supplied unions fitted. Some minor plumbing changes may also be required. Any plumber or capable handyman can generally handle this easily.
- This pump replaces several discontinued models, including the Davey XS200, XS250, Bath Pump 230, Onga 2381, 2388, 2391, 2398, 4381, Balboa 2381, 2388, and others.
As with all Davey pump replacements, new unions (included) must be installed to suit this pump.

Important Note: Includes new barrel unions for plumbing when replacing pumps from other brands (e.g., Davey, Onga, Balboa, Spaquip, Englefield), as each brand uses different unions.

MULTI PORTS: can be plumbed as a top or front discharge plump.
AIR BLEED: Air Bleed can be activated any time should air locking occur, the air bleed has an o'ring seal to ensure positive sealing once air has been expelled.
The TriFlo pump internal design allows the water to self drain so that there is no residue water left in the pump when the spa is emptied in accordance with Local Health Regulations.
The Triflo Auto-heat helps maintain warmth in a hot spa bath using recovered heat from the pump’s motor, and does not contain an electric element.
TriFlo spa bath pumps are designed for spa bath operation only and should not be used in chemically treated water or permanently filled spas or any other purpose.
In plumbing, named sizes are not the actual measurements. A pipe called “50mm” or “2"” does not measure 50 mm across. Instead, it follows nominal sizing, an internationally-standardised naming system.
Use the Outside Diameter (OD) to check your pipe against fittings. Below is a quick reference for common spa & pool pipe sizes:

These are nominal sizes and are designed to fit matching fittings — not to measure exactly what their name suggests. These are based on PVC Pressure Pipe AS/NZ 1477 Dimensions1.

Understanding Plumbing Sizes & Nominal Measurements
Plumbing sizes can be confusing. PVC and many other pipe systems use nominal sizes—the size is a name, not the exact measured dimension. This convention is used across most pool and spa systems so that pipes and fittings remain compatible.
Why pipe sizes don’t match the measurements
The Nominal Pipe Size (NPS) system standardises pipe dimensions so that pipes, fittings, valves, and accessories interoperate. Plumbers work with these nominal names every day, but DIYers can be tripped up if they try to match by a tape-measure alone.
How to Measure Pipe Correctly

Pipe size is identified by:
- The pipe’s Outside Diameter (OD).
- The fitting’s Inside Diameter (ID) (socket opening).
- Pipe Class / Schedule (e.g., Class 9, 12, 18 or Sch 40) relates to wall thickness and therefore the Internal Diameter (ID) and pressure rating.
- The outside diameter of a fitting is not useful (wall thickness varies by manufacturer).
