Hurlcon Astralpool Viron 550 gas pool heaters were discontinued a few years ago. They will not be coming back onto the market. The Viron 550 has been replaced by the Viron eVo 450.
We offer 3 Price-points for these heaters, due to various responsibilities:
- Pick-Up / Delivery price: You Pick-Up in-store, or we deliver (Vic Only)
- Changeover Price: Replacing like-for-like, and we will request more information.
- New-Installs: Must be quoted with more information, and site visit.
Warranty:
- Pick-up / Delivery: Full Manufacturer's Warranty, as per their terms.
- Changeovers & New-Installs: Full Manufacturer's Warranty, plus our in-house Warranty, with priority call-outs from us, as an Astral Authorized Service Agent.

Flow Rates
The Viron eVo Pool Heater requires a minimum of 250 litres per minute flow for 250/350 models and 350 litres per minute flow for 450/550 models. The maximum permissible flow rate is 500 litres per minute. For flow rates in excess of 500 litres per minute, an external by-pass valve must be fitted.

AstralPool warrants that, subject to the exclusions and limitations below, the product will be free from defects in materials and workmanship during the warranty period. The warranty periods are set out below and commence 30 days after the date of purchase (to allow for installation). The warranty period may vary for different parts of the Product.
