This controller is used with most pool and spa heat pumps that use a 2-wire control connection. It allows the heat pump to switch the pool pump on when there is a heat demand, rather than relying only on the normal filtration timer.

It is especially useful where the pool pump needs to run when either the chlorinator or the heat pump calls for flow. In other words, the controller allows the pump to be overridden by the heat pump’s internal heat-demand circuit.

Commonly used with Rheem / Raypak, Zodiac, AstralPool, SensaHeat, Madimack, EvoHeat, Hayward and many other brands that use a compatible 2-wire low-voltage switching connection.

Choose between these options:

• Standard 5 RO I – for systems where the heater is installed on the same plumbing line as the pool filtration system.
