Spa Jet Replacement Gasket Seals – Hurricane, Mini Hurricane, Pentair, Balboa, Edgetec and more

Gaskets for these jets are not sold separately. Manufacturers only supply them as part of the complete jet body.

Most experienced spa technicians actually remove the factory gasket when replacing a jet body and instead use a high-quality silicone sealant. This is also what we recommend.

If possible, loosen the locking nut at the back so the jet body can be pushed slightly forward. Apply a small bead of silicone between the jet flange and the spa shell, then tighten everything back up. This provides a reliable long-term seal without needing a separate gasket.

  • Handy PVC Plumbing Size Info

    Plumbing sizes can be confusing. Pressure PVC pipe use nominal sizes - the size is simple a name, not the measured dimension. This convention is used across most pool and spa systems so that pipes and fittings remain compatible.

    • 50mm / 2" = ~60-61mm OD
    • 40mm / 1.5" = ~48mm OD
    • 25mm / 1" = ~33-34mm OD

  • Plug Types & Styles

    Common plug types found on spa equipment are AMP, Mini JJ, C38 (Aus 3-pin), Gecko in.link, etc. For more information please click here.

    • AMP plugs are the most common type used for over 20 years.
    • Many Mini J&J plugs are no longer available and must be modified.
    • C38 is the common Australian 3-pin plug found in normal household outlets.
    • Gecko (Aeware) in.link style plugs are no longer available and must be modified.
