Every cell here is a genuine manufacturer part bought through the authorised supply chain, so the warranty holds and the cell resistance is correct for your chlorinator's control board. Warranty claims are assessed in-house by our team, which includes ex-Astralpool and ex-Hurlcon technicians.

Finding the Right Cell

Cells are not interchangeable across a series. Match your chlorinator model exactly, or match the part number printed on your existing cell. As a guide for the Astralpool / Hurlcon range: VX6 and E25 use 21905 / 21915, VX7 uses 21906 / 21916, VX9 and E35 use 21907 / 21917, and VX11 uses 21908 / 21918. The Viron, Viron eQuilibrium and Halo Chlor families use the separate 12915–12918 range.

Part numbers ending in a lower digit (2190x) are complete cells including the clear housing. Those ending 2191x are the electrode only.

    Plumbing sizes can be confusing. Pressure PVC pipe use nominal sizes - the size is simple a name, not the measured dimension. This convention is used across most pool and spa systems so that pipes and fittings remain compatible.

    • 50mm / 2" = ~60-61mm OD
    • 40mm / 1.5" = ~48mm OD
    • 25mm / 1" = ~33-34mm OD
