Measurements (e.g. thread size, pipe OD/ID, heater kW rating, pump label details, etc).

Technical Help - For technical assistance, please email us with as much detail as possible. Keep in mind we are limited in what advice we can provide on electrical and gas components, as all work must be carried out by a qualified technician.

Pipe & Fittings Sizing Info

Plumbing sizes can be confusing. Pressure PVC pipe use nominal sizes - the size is simple a name, not the measured dimension. This convention is used across most pool and spa systems so that pipes and fittings remain compatible.

50mm / 2" = ~60-61mm OD
40mm / 1.5" = ~48mm OD
25mm / 1" = ~33-34mm OD

Plug Types & Styles

Common plug types found on spa equipment are AMP, Mini JJ, C38 (Aus 3-pin), Gecko in.link, etc. For more information please click here.

AMP plugs are the most common type used for over 20 years.
Many Mini J&J plugs are no longer available and must be modified.
C38 is the common Australian 3-pin plug found in normal household outlets.
Gecko (Aeware) in.link style plugs are no longer available and must be modified.
