LX Whirlpool Hydro Massage Spa Jet Booster Pumps - LP 250 2.5HP. LP300 also directly replaces the WP250-I (not WP250-II).Universal Spa Jet Pump that fits almost all of the major brands of pumps. This is the upgraded "Pro Series" version of the LX Whirlpool pump with better seals and impeller material.

AMP for Balboa, Joyonway, Gecko Aeware
Overmoulded AMP for Davey, Spanet, SpaQuip
Other plugs such as Mini JJ & in.link no longer available. Electrician can use old lead, or create a junction box.

Protip: For an even better version, with same fittings, better seals, windings, etc choose the Spatex SX250 here.

This is the two-speed version. Check your plug to ensure it has 3 wires, not 4. If it has 4-wires, it is the LP two-speed version.

Versions listed crazy-cheap elsewhere have lower-grade seals, impellers, have no Electrical Approvals, and are illegal. There is only one importer that ensures the highest-specs are sold, and tracked via serial numbers. We only sell the electrically-approved version.

Pipe & Fittings Sizing Info

Plumbing sizes can be confusing. Pressure PVC pipe use nominal sizes - the size is simple a name, not the measured dimension. This convention is used across most pool and spa systems so that pipes and fittings remain compatible.

50mm / 2" = ~60-61mm OD
40mm / 1.5" = ~48mm OD
25mm / 1" = ~33-34mm OD

Plug Types & Styles

Common plug types found on spa equipment are AMP, Mini JJ, C38 (Aus 3-pin), Gecko in.link, etc. For more information please click here.

AMP plugs are the most common type used for over 20 years.
Many Mini J&J plugs are no longer available and must be modified.
C38 is the common Australian 3-pin plug found in normal household outlets.
Gecko (Aeware) in.link style plugs are no longer available and must be modified.
