The Zodiac DuoX DX4050 iQ is the top model in the DuoX corded range. It plugs into a standard power point and runs independently of your pool pump, filter and skimmer, so it can clean while the pump is off and it never loads your cartridge or sand filter with leaves.

Two things separate it from the DX4000 directly beneath it: an 18 metre cable instead of 15, which lifts the pool rating from 10 x 5m to 12 x 6m, and a Wi-Fi connection to the iAquaLink app so you can start, stop, schedule and manually drive the cleaner from your phone. It also receives over-the-air firmware updates, with security updates available until 1/1/2028.

No. It plugs into a standard power point and collects debris in its own canister, so it never touches your pump, filter, skimmer or suction line. That means it can run while the pump is off, and leaves end up in the cleaner rather than in your cartridge or sand filter.

What does the dual-stage filtration actually do?

The 150µ canister catches leaves, grit and the bulk debris load. The 60µ stage catches the finer material that would otherwise pass straight through – dust, sand and dead algae. You can run the 150µ on its own through heavy leaf drop and add the 60µ when you want a polish.
