Why We Now Focus on Zodiac® Robotic Pool Cleaners
Over the years, we have sold and dealt with a wide range of pool and spa robotic cleaners, including Maytronics® / Dolphin, Fairland®, Aiper®, Madimack®, Beatbot®, and others. After seeing how these brands perform not just at the point of sale, but over the longer term with warranty claims, spare parts, and after-sales support, we made the decision to focus on Zodiac robotic pool cleaners.
The biggest issues we repeatedly found with many other brands were fairly consistent: limited support, patchy spare parts availability, and constantly changing model line-ups. A new model would come out, the old one would effectively be dropped, and parts or technical support would quickly become harder to obtain. That is frustrating for customers and frustrating for us!
We do not just want to sell a cleaner. We want to be confident that if you need help in 6 months, 18 months, or 3 years, there is still a realistic path to warranty support, parts supply, and repair.
That is a major reason we chose Zodiac.
In Australia, Zodiac® has a well-established support structure, published warranty terms, and a broad dealer and service network. This generally makes warranty handling more straightforward and gives customers a better chance of getting support when they actually need it.
Just as importantly, spare parts are much more readily available. Filters, tracks, brushes, canisters, and other common wear items are far easier to source than with many of the newer or fast-changing brands we have seen come and go. That matters, because robotic cleaners are not a disposable purchase. They are a serviceable piece of equipment, and long-term parts support matters.
So while there are plenty of robotic cleaner brands on the market, we recently made the decision to sell Zodiac only. For us, it came down to the things that matter most after the sale:
- Better backup
- Easier warranty handling
- Broader repair support
- More reliable spare parts availability
That gives us more confidence in what we sell, and gives our customers a better ownership experience over the life of the cleaner.
