Raypak Secondary PCB Circuit Board - Pool Spa Mode and Valve Controller - Obsolete (No Longer Available)

Obsolete - No longer avaiable. Replaced by new style listed here.

Secondary PCB found on Raypak 200, 280, 350, 430 gas heaters. It is used to control actuated valves and the Pool and Spa Modes. It also may stop the heater from functioning when it fails. Part may be labelled 96PE5003. Found on the lower right side of the main PCB.

Important: As of 09/2020 the new style Raypak Heater does not allow controlling of the pump, valves, timers, etc.

  • Handy PVC Plumbing Size Info

    Plumbing sizes can be confusing. Pressure PVC pipe use nominal sizes - the size is simple a name, not the measured dimension. This convention is used across most pool and spa systems so that pipes and fittings remain compatible.

    • 50mm / 2" = ~60-61mm OD
    • 40mm / 1.5" = ~48mm OD
    • 25mm / 1" = ~33-34mm OD

  • Plug Types & Styles

    Common plug types found on spa equipment are AMP, Mini JJ, C38 (Aus 3-pin), Gecko in.link, etc. For more information please click here.

    • AMP plugs are the most common type used for over 20 years.
    • Many Mini J&J plugs are no longer available and must be modified.
    • C38 is the common Australian 3-pin plug found in normal household outlets.
    • Gecko (Aeware) in.link style plugs are no longer available and must be modified.
