About the Balboa 59024 O3zone Ozone Generators. These were made in several variations, but unfortunately were not tracked by spa manufacturers, as to exactly which ones were which, and most looked identical.
*No longer available* These O3 systems are discontinued and produce far less Ozone than more modern Corona Discharge Ozone generators. Use one of the following to replace:
- Basic Ozone Replacement (best for budget)
- UltraZone Ozone + UV Replacement

Designed for spas up to 2000 litres, the Balboa O3zone UV Electronic Ballast Ozone Generator maximizes versatility with its unique Smart Start Technology. Reliably producing UV ozone to help sanitize your hot tub, the O3zone ozonator uses a UV lamp with an integrated plasma cell for increased performance.
For added protection, it features a SmartStart electronic ballast that significantly reduces noise while also eliminating GFCI tripping. With plastic housing to prevent corrosion and 110/240VAC convertible power, it includes the plasma cell, UV lamp with 6’ tubing, and a ¼" check valve for installation. Measures 12.75" (l) x 2.4" (w) x 2.78" (h).
